AT A GLANCE
On the Faurei-Tecuci railway line, there are two level crossings directly behind each other in the area of the TECUCI Nord stop.
This area represented a critical crossing between the national road in Tecuci and the crossing railway line. It was therefore decided that together with the renewal of the tracks, the two level crossings should also be modernised.
Due to the high traffic volume and the local conditions – crossing angle 70°, cant 35 mm – it was decided to install pontiSTRAIL 713 outer panels and STRAIL inner panels.
The installation as well as the track and road renewal was carried out within two days with a total closure of the road and the suspension of railway operations.
