STRAILastic_A - the „noise absorber“-system

The STRAILastic absorber is a rail damper for reducing noise emissions of the superstructure and rail vibrations.
STRAILastic_A is a product made of an elastomer compound and manufactured in a special vulcanising process.
As a result of the large mass the absorber works as a vibration damper and the choice of the material works additionally as damping.

STRAILastic_A takes great advantages from the unique rubber know-how of the KRAIBURG group. The choice of the material is brilliant suited for a passive noise and vibration damping.
Passive damping converts kinetic energy to heat.
The installation is carried out using mounting aids and without the need for traffic blocks.
When tamping tracks there is no need to dismantle the elements.
Rail measurement will not be affected or hampered by the rubber parts.
