first time in New Zealand

In April 2009, after a long lead time, we were able to realise the first veloSTRAIL level crossing in New Zealand. This is not only the first installation in New Zealand, but rather the first veloSTRAIL level crossing in the southern hemisphere altogether. They are also probably the products belonging to the STRAIL family, which have travelled the furthest from home. After all, the distance to Arahura is approx. 18,200 km as the crow flies!
