STRAIL & STRAILastic are setting great store by:

• Durability and reliability of the products under different loads and in different climates as well as recyclability after servicable life.
• High speed in reacting to customer demands as well as for installation and removal of the systems without lengthy traffic interruption, preferrably with little or no use of tools.
• A safe status of railway track and road for all forms of traffic, from trains to trucks/lorries to cars to cyclists and pedestrians, far beyond public accident prevention requirements.
• Economic use of the systems due to maintenance-freedom and durability as well as fast and simple removal and re-installation for track maintenance.
• Environmental sustainability due to predominant use of recycled material which after their servicable life can be put to reasonable use and do not burden the environment with hazardous substances.
• Traffic noise reduction due to use of absorbing material for railway crossings and tram track suspension.

From the raw material to the finished product, STRAIL & STRAILastic systems are tested and checked in every phase of production. Suppliers are audited for a documented process and product management. STRAIL products are also regularly tested by LGA Nürnberg, long-term experience is gathered in co-operation with Bundesanstalt für Strassenwesen. Quality control for STRAILastic products are effected externally. STRAIL & STRAILastic are certified according to ISO EN 9001 and is Q1 supplier of Deutsche Bahn AG.

Even many years after the initial installation, all components can be traced. At all times, the database provides current status reports of railway crossings and installed STRAILastic elements. This helps recognising errors early and to provide fast and effective help in order to avoid unpleasant surprises.
